We're glad you could be here this Family Weekend

Thank you to all who made the trip to campus for Family Weekend this year! It was such a joy to share that time with you all.

Something I hadn’t anticipated, being new to the world of education, was just how rewarding it would be to meet the parents of the students I coach, advise, build trails alongside, and work with on a daily basis. Things click. There’s also the special, invigorating privilege of playing host to you all. Welcoming you as guests and letting you in on our routines (mini-classes, meals in the Brett Smith ‘88 Dining Commons), the appreciation we have for this place deepens – we’re proud to share this school with you.

Thank you very much to Aimee Lord, our queen regent of Family Weekend, for her work to see this all off without a hitch! She asked we pass along the following message:

“Thank you to all the families who joined us for an unforgettable Family Weekend! It was so great having our families back on campus and sharing our campus (and beautiful weather!) with you all. From the mini classes to conferences to watching the wonderful arts performances to cheering on our teams, your support and involvement are what makes our community so special.”

The first signs of frost are upon us, and we’re riding high after a restful Fall Break. It’s hard to believe this place, it’s so pretty this time of year.
