October Athletes of the Month
In the final full month of the fall athletic season, we’ve seen outstanding efforts from so many student-athletes. The following have stood out as October’s Athletes of the Month!
Mountain Biking - Skyah M. ‘27
Skyah has great work ethic, a positive attitude and an infectious love for mountain biking that spreads throughout the team. Not only is she currently our top racer, but she’s an excellent captain on top of that! Hands down Mountain Biking’s Athlete of the Month.
Sculling - Sophie D. ‘27
Sophie joined the crew team last year. Her passion, strength, and determination add power to the boat. She brings joy to our team every day. Congratulations Sophie for being Crew’s Athlete of the Month!
Girls Soccer - Holland C. ‘25
Holland has been a fierce competitor and strong leader throughout the month. She is willing to play any position to support her teammates. She never stops working, especially when playing more talented teams. She always supports her teammates and brings her best to every practice and game. Congratulations Holland for being Athlete of the Month!
Dance - Max G. ‘26
Max is our Athlete of the Month for dance for his consistent enthusiasm in all aspects of our dance rehearsals. He consistently arrives ready to engage with the warm-up and he's very excited to be working on his own choreography. Max builds enthusiasm in his peers and supports other groups as they create their own choreographic works.
Sailing – J.J. J-S ‘25
JJ is incredibly dedicated and has been a member of the Sailing Team for all four years. They are a terrific instructor, gentle with the novices and kind to everyone. JJ also takes great care of our valuable equipment, showing kindness in every interaction with fellow sailors. Congratulations JJ on being Athlete of the Month!
Boys Soccer - Graeme W. ‘25
The level of consistency in performance from Graeme has been remarkable. Even under immense pressure from the opposing forwards, Graeme rarely puts a foot wrong. He is an absolute speed demon, tearing after attackers to put in a crucial block or tackle time and time again. His presence at the back has been absolutely vital to us this season. Well done Graeme!
Cross Country - Ben M. '26
Ben shows enthusiasm at every practice and is supportive of his teammates day in and day out. Ben has improved his times throughout the season and is a reliable runner in every race. I hope Ben’s best performances are still to come as he is going to race at the SENE and NE championship races soon. Congratulations Ben!
