Construction of the New Visual Arts Building Has Begun!

We are delighted to announce that our Board of Trustees has approved the beginning of construction of the Visual Arts Building. Mr. Bates writes:

“It is humbling to think that the vision for this building evolved over six years ago when Chris Horgan first discussed the idea of a building for the arts with Patricia Fletcher H ’05.

I believe that this building will be a signature structure for our school. It will showcase our renowned visual arts program, allow for the growth of digital media in the arts, provide for the classroom space needed to run an efficient school, feature a beautiful art gallery for both visiting and in-house artists, and provide a much-needed student center for our students to meet with one an other in a friendly and neutral environment. So that all of you can share in the excitement of the construction, this week we will turn our weather camera to face the construction site.”
