Whether you have never touched a stick before or you have played on a club team elsewhere, Dublin Girls’ Lacrosse will challenge you. The program emphasizes conditioning, skill development, teamwork, strategy and tactical understandings, leadership development and fun. Players set goals at the start of the season and meet with the coaches individually throughout the season to continue to evaluate progress and growth. Players are encouraged to push themselves physically and mentally in order to be the best lacrosse player they can be.
In terms of competition, the team plays in two leagues, the Lakes Region League and the River Valley League. We play the Varsity teams in the River Valley League and typically play the JV teams from the schools in the Lakes Region League. In 2015, the team posted a 13-2-1 record, and won the River Valley League Championship for the fIfth consecutive year.
