BA Lafayette College
MA in English Literature; Bread Loaf School of English, Middlebury College

I grew up in Santa Barbara, California, and moved to Pennsylvania to study English and Theater for college. Following my studies, I moved back to California to work at The Thacher School in Ojai, California where I taught 9th grade English and served in a variety of roles related to student life. Shortly after, I moved to the bay area and continued my work in education by teaching English and overseeing the Advisory Program for Middle School students at CCJDS. During my time at this school, I also met my husband, Sam Peyton-Levine C'05, who whisked me off my feet and across to the country to the great Dublin School. We are both thrilled to be here!

What book has made you think the most? Between the World and Me, All About Love: New Visions, American Primitive, Women Who Run with the Wolves… there are too many:)

What teacher has had the greatest impact on you? Why were they special? My students are always my greatest teachers, for they show me how to take risks, share openly, and find time to play.

How would your friends describe you in three words? Energetic, compassionate, silly

I am most happy when... Sharing stories with my loved ones, running, reading, writing, exploring new places, people watching.

What is your favorite outdoor activity? Be running with my beloved, Sam.
