Dublin girls Varsity basketball ended its season on Wednesday with a tough loss to Chase Collegiate in the quarterfinals of the NEPSAC playoffs, 46-29. As was the case all season, the girls left it all on the court, showing great hustle and determination throughout. Four minutes into the second half, the Wildcats cut the deficit to 5 points, at 32-27, but Chase put on a half-court trap that resulted in a number of steals and fast-break layups to seal the game. Dublin was lead in scoring by Kusum Aryal '21 with 10 points, Mia Fantauzzi '22 with 8, Josie Switzer '21 and Hannah Spindler '19 with 4 apiece, Celeste Hopson '20 with 2, and senior co-captain Tatiyana Dunkers '19 adding a free throw.
Dublin ends the year with a record of 12-7 and a River Valley Athletic League championship. Mia Fantauzzi will represent the team on "Super Sunday" at the Class D/E all-star game at Loomis Chaffee.
