Senior Kyle Greenberg anchored the defense in his last Dublin home game, a 4-2 loss to White Mountain. Falling behind 2-0, Dublin responded with a second-half push eventually tieing the score at 2-2 behind a Kyle Greenberg penalty kick and a Salah Maalim goal. White Mountain regained the lead creating two scramble goals in front of the net to secure the game. White Mountain 4, Dublin 2.
Dublin held Four RIvers scoreless for the first thirty-three minutes of the RVAL quarterfinal match. The Wildcats commitment to defense paid off frustrating a talented Four Rivers offense. Four Rivers finally broke free along the end line to create a crossing opportunity and header for the game's first goal. With one minute remaining in the half Four Rivers scored a decisive second goal to stake a 2-0 halftime lead. Dublin battled hard in the second half creating numerous scoring opportunities - Exavion Clerveau broke free and shot wide of the goal, Lawrence Chen had a shot cleared off the line and also beat the keeper off the dribble before being taken down in the box. Dublin goalkeeper Tim Bernard made numerous saves throughout the game to lead the Dublin defense. Four Rivers added two insurance goals in the second half. Four RIvers 4, Dublin 0.
Dublin Christian Academy (DCA) hosted the Wildcats in a spirited JV contest. DCA jumped out to a 1-0 lead with a quick counter-attack from the right flank barely eluding keeper David Fromm. DCA added two more goals before half while the Wildcats had numerous chances but were ultimately stymied by the stellar play of DCA's goalie. Ben Froling's shot ringing off the post summed up the second half for Dublin - close but still off the mark. Second-half Dublin goalie Isaac Espada held DCA to one goal. DCA 4, Dublin JV 0.
Hartsbrook took an early 1-0 lead and stymied the Wildcat offense with an aggressive, well-positioned defense. Dublin pushed forward controlling field position but a quick strike before the half left the home team down 2-0. Hartsbrook again scored early in the 2nd half before the Dublin offense took control creating numerous scoring chances. Will Armstrong scored from 20 yards out on a free-kick to cut the lead to 3-1 with 12 minutes to play. Armstrong converted a penalty kick with time winding down to make the final score Hartsbrook 3, Dublin 2. Tim Bernard anchored the Dublin defense for his first complete game in goal.
The WIldcats dominated the first-half against BART with ten shots on goal but failed to score against BART's stingy defense. Lawrence Chen solved the riddle by scoring off a Will Armstrong corner-kick ten minutes into the second half. Salah Maalim rifled a near post shot past the keeper to make it 2-0 and Larence Chen scored again to complete the scoring. Goalkeepers Aidan Ansted and Tim Bernard controlled Dublin's box posting a shutout. Dublin 3, BART 0.
Rocky Hill (RI) rocked the Wildcats with four first-half goals in a 5-0 win in Dublin. The Mariners used a ball control offense to create numerous scoring opportunities while limiting Dublin's scoring chances.
High Mowing jumped out to a two-goal lead midway through the first half and stymied the Dublin offense with tight marking. Down 3-0 with 25 minutes to play, Lawrence Chen scored on a breakaway to put the Wildcats back in the game. Chen barely missed another opportunity three minutes later, but High Mowing added an insurance goal to end the scoring. High Mowing 4, Dublin 1.
Andrew Edmonds and Kyle Greenberg recorded first-half goals to lead the Wildcats to a convincing 10-1 win against White Oak. Colin Brown also scored a brilliant goal, half-volleying a shot to the far corner of the White Oak goal to complete first-half scoring. Tim Bernard and David Fromm made their goalie debuts and had numerous stops and saves throughout the game. 23 players competed for the Wildcats during Family Weekend.
