A potential fourth goal from Joseph hit the crossbar on the underside but somehow stayed out.

Boys Varsity Soccer vs. White Mountain School - Win (3-1) - November 8, 2017

White Mountain got a goal early in the second half but the boys didn't back down.  Josh made five more saves in the second half and Fab got a goal to bring the score to 3-1 Dublin.  Overall the boys had a great game and were happy to ring the bell once they got back to campus.

Boys Varsity Soccer vs. Academy at Charlemont at RVAL Tournament - Loss (2-3) - October 24, 2017

Boys travelled to Academy at Charlemont as the fifth seed in the first round of the RVAL tournament.  The torrential rain made both the field and the soccer balls super slippery.  The boys started the game determined to put up a fight.  During the first half, Charlemont was up 2-0, but Dublin got one in off of a corner kick from Will Boot (Larchmont, NY).  At halftime, the boys got together and were energized to at least tie up the match.  During the second half, Joshua Hochberg (Teaneck, NJ) made six saves while Fab Joseph (Easton, PA) got a goal to tie up the match.  Lawrence Chen (Beijing, China) seemed to win the game when his shot beat the goalie but deflected off the post and stayed out.

Since this match is part of a tournament they had to go to a sudden death overtime with the next goal deciding the game.  WIth the slippery conditions, Josh wasn't able to make the save when Charlemont made a shot on their third try.  Overall, the Dublin Boy's did a great job and fought hard for a win, but weren't able to make the dream a reality.
