The Dublin boy's soccer team played High Mowing on Wednesday. Both teams start strong with both goalies making impressive saves. High Mowing scored in the middle of the first half with Dublin on a strong offensive. Dublin made 8 shots on goal in the first half Fab Joseph (Easton, PA) (7) and Timmy Stone (Concord, MA) (1).
At halftime, both teams regrouped and came out battling. It was a constant back and forth with many shots on goal from both teams until the middle of the second half when Will Boot (Larchmont, NY) scored. That gave the Dublin boys an energy boost and five minutes later Jay Belleuve-Ryan scored. This had High Mowing pushing hard to tie it up, but Josh Hochberg made four saves to stymie the rush. In the last four minutes of the game, Fabryce Joseph took a penalty shot that when straight to the top corner give Dublin the lead 3-1. Overall Dublin had 16 shots on goal in the second half: Will Boot (3), Eric Gu (1), Fabryce(8) and Jay Belleuve-Ryan (4). Both teams had a great game.
