The rowers enjoyed a beautiful day of racing on Wednesday against Vermont Academy. The warm weather, brisk tailwind, and sunny skies made for fast conditions on the course and pleasant spectating for the parents and friends who came over to Thorndike Pond to watch. Many thanks to VA for making the trip and giving both teams the opportunity to experience a competitive race piece. The boys and girls 1st and 2nd boats both finished ahead of VA, and the novice boats were behind VA. The Dublin novice girls joined in the boys novice races since VA only had two girls boats. It was a day when the coxswains welcomed the traditional toss into the pond after a victory, and many of the rowers jumped in themselves!
