Girls Lacrosse win RVAL Championship over Stoneleigh Burnham School - (11-2) - May 13, 2017

After playing a preliminary game against the Bement School, the girls came out a little flat against Stoneleigh Burnham (SBS).  We struggled to gain possession and SBS took advantage, scoring two goals in the first three minutes. We won possession on the next draw and Dublin found its footing, scoring the final 11 goals of the game to win the Championship.  After the early hiccup, the defense settled in and smothered the SBS offense.  While we were a little over-anxious on offense — reducing our efficiency — our continued presence in the offensive zone led to multiple scoring opportunities.

The Dublin seniors (Noelia Calcano (Hamilton, NJ), Somali Green (New York, NY), Sabrina Hayden (Marlborough, NH), Brianna Moore (Irvington, NJ), Madeline Pastan (Marblehead, MA), and Shaneil Wynter (Brooklyn, NY)) have never lost an RVAL championship game and have set a high standard of excellence for their younger teammates.

Scoring for Dublin: Bette Imhoff (Dublin, NH) 6G, 1A; Stella Davis (Dublin, NH) 4G, 4A; and Sabrina Hayden (Marlborough, NH) 1G, 2A. Goaltender Amani Natson (Hillside, NJ) had 7 saves.
