On March 10th we sent out our acceptance videos to nearly one hundred students from all over the country and the world. Since then we have already received a great round of new enrollments and I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting and learning more about each of the newest members of our community. We are welcoming some remarkable young people to Dublin School and the future is looking bright!

It is at this time of year that I think of the inspired work of our admission team. Jill Hutchins has gone above and beyond in searching for students who will truly thrive at and contribute to the unique Dublin culture. We are fortunate to have a Dean of Enrollment who connects with young people, has incredible integrity, and absolutely loves Dublin School. The pressures that a Dean of Enrollment at a boarding school faces from the head of school, the board, the faculty, alumni, parents and the competitive market are too numerous to list, and yet Jill Hutchins does her job with grace and humility. She is surrounded by an equally caring and hard working staff made up of Teresa Imhoff, Matt Parker and Erin Bouton. These three have traveled from Hancock, NH to Brooklyn, NY to Beijing, China to find students who would benefit from a Dublin education. They become quite attached to the students and families they meet along the way, and, more than any admission office I have seen before, stay involved with these students through their time at Dublin and beyond.

Our Director of Communication has been working hard to help prospective families get a sense of the magic that takes place on our campus. From his admission videos to his daily photographs to his published pieces, Peter Imhoff does an amazing job of communicating the distinctiveness of the Dublin experience.

Lastly, I thank the student tour guides and our faculty for all the time they invest in our visitors during the year. We are one of the only schools that actively invites visiting students to go to our classes while they are visiting.

We are excited to welcome a large group of prospective families to our revisit day on April 6th and hope they get a real taste of the work our faculty and staff are doing with young people to truly build up their lives. A Dublin School education is more relevant and powerful than ever and I thank our admission team for finding such great kids for our school.
