The Dublin girls' Varsity team travelled to the Tilton School for their last regular season game. Dublin knew they were going to be facing an undefeated, talented JV team on their home court, and that they would need to bring their A game. Stella Davis (Dublin, NH) '18 and Bette Imhoff (Dublin, NH) '18 got Dublin off to an early lead, hitting 4 3-pointers. Dublin was also strong on the boards with rebounding efforts from Shaneil Wynter (Brooklyn, NY) '17, Clare Fowler (Greenwich, NY) '18, and Davis.
Although Dublin was ahead throughout the game, they were never able to build a comfortable lead. They were only up by 2 points at the half, when Tilton tried to change up its defense to slow down Davis and Imhoff, opening up offensive opportunities for their teammates, Sabrina Hayden (Marlborough, NH) '17 and Amani Natson (Hillside, NJ) '18. Tilton hit 2 key 3-pointers in the final minutes of the game, cutting Dublin's lead. Dublin was able to hold off Tilton's late surge, extending its winning streak to 6 games. For the next week, Dublin will be preparing for the upcoming NEPSAC tournament.
Bette Imhoff led all scorers with 23 points, and Stella Davis added 18 points to the team's win.
