Cross country finished the season on Saturday at the NEPSTA (New England) Division 4 Championships. On a cold day, they traveled to South Berwick, Maine to be matched up against runners from 27 schools. Our teams and individuals finished with impressive results.
Dublin boys finished 4th out of 27 teams in the varsity race. Scoring for Dublin were: Quinn Wilson (Dublin, NH) 11th; Ian Baker (Boston, MA) 20th; Kyle Mincey (Newark, NJ) 47th; Rohan Gold (Forest Hills, NY) 51st; and, Max Johnson (Charlotte, NC) 55th. Harrison Atlas (Houston, TX) and Alex Antonellis (Harwich, MA) displaced runners from other teams and finished in the top third of the entire field of 184 runners.
Dublin's JV team of Dereck Elmera (Union, NJ) 6th; James Wolpe (Dublin, NH) 12th; Isaac Espada (Windsor, CT) 15th; Bob Paltrineri (Keene, NH) 17th; Alex Vienneau (Carlisle, MA) 20th; Nick Runyon (Peterborough, NH) 26th; and Denny Liu (Kunming, China) 27th placed 2nd in a field of 13 teams.
On the girl's side, Dublin finished 9th in a field of 16 schools. Top five finishers were Lilly Bates (Dublin, NH) 19th ; Isolina Miller (Marlborough, NH) 37th; Aggie Macy (Dublin, NH) 43rd; Camille Pollak (Laconia, NH) 72nd; and, Kate Weber (New York, NY) 91st. Laura Qu (Qingdao, China) and Lucia Xia (Beijing, China) displaced runners. Three of the top Dublin runners (Miller, Pollak, Weber) are in their first season of running for Dublin.
