The Dublin' Varsity girls basketball team traveled to Eagle Hill School on Wednesday. Eagle Hill caught Dublin sleeping in the first few minutes and got on the board early with a 3-pointer. The Dublin girls quickly adjusted to Eagle Hill's outside shooting and Sabrina Hayden (Marlborough, NH) '17 and Stella Davis (Dublin, NH) '18 connected to put 12 points on the board, giving Dublin the lead. From that point, Dublin didn't looked back. Hayden and Davis ended the game with 10 and 28 points respectively. The team looked to spread the offense. Katia Dermott (Old Fort, NC) '17 scored her first Varsity points, finishing the game with 4 points, and Adunni Abrams (Brooklyn, NY) had a hot hand, contributing 6 points to Dublin's total. The team was happy to welcome Shaneil Wynter (Brooklyn, NY) '17 back after missing 2 games with an injury. Her rebounding gave Dublin a number of second chance shots.
Dublin looks forward to hosting Williams School in the Whitney Gymnasium on Friday at 4:30.
