Dublin traveled to Hardwick, Massachusetts, on Wednesday to face Eagle Hill School in a River Valley Athletic League matchup. Defense was strong on both ends, and scoring for both teams was low throughout. The Wildcats shot just 6 for 35 in the first half, which ended with the visitors trailing, 19-13. Dublin outrebounded Eagle Hill significantly, dominating the glass 50-28 over the course of the game, but could not translate its frontcourt advantage into points. Down 10 with 5:00 to go, they finally closed the gap to 3 on a Fab Joseph (Easton, PA) '18 layup with 0:06 remaining. After an Eagle Hill turnover, Dublin had one final chance to tie the score, but Will Campbell's (Milford, NH) long attempt at the buzzer fell short. Jaydon Belliveau-Ryan (Peterborough, NH) led the team once again with 14 points and 3 steals; Joseph added 7 points and 15 rebounds, 9 of them on the offensive glass.
Dublin (3-6, 2-2 RVAL) will host Vermont Academy on Friday night at 6:00 pm.
