Dublin's Varsity boys' basketball lost a tough one at home to RVAL rival Putney School on Monday, 58-53. The Wildcats jumped out to a 14-point lead and looked about to break the game wide open, but Putney made a run late in the first half to cut the lead to 30-25 at halftime. Dublin's shooting touch went cold in the second half, and Putney capitalized on some poor defense, going to the free-throw line 29 times compared to Dublin's 4. Freshman guard Nate Gryczka (Keene, NH) '20 caught fire in the last few minutes of the game, but the Wildcats' comeback fell short. Jaydon Belliveau-Ryan (Peterborough, NH) '20 led the team with 14 points, followed by Gryczka with 12, and sophomore co-captain Will Campbell (Milford, NH) '19 with 10.
