Dublin Varsity girls' basketball hosted Brewster Academy Saturday afternoon. Dublin had a strong start to the game holding onto the the lead for the first 8 minutes of the game. Brewster readjusted their offense and started to find ways to get open looks at the basket and shots started falling. The Dublin girls struggled offensively and went into the half down by 8. Dublin changed its offense in the second half, driving to the basket. Although shots didn't fall, Juniors Bette Imhoff and Stella Davis were able to start drawing fouls and scored from the line; 9 of their 13 second half point came from foul shots. The Dublin girls struggled throughout the game getting their offense and defense to the level it had been in their previous two games.
The team has put this game behind them and is looking forward to next Wednesday's match up against Eagle Hill School. Junior Stella Davis led all scores with 18 points.
