Dublin Varsity girls' basketball hosted a strong Proctor team on Wednesday. Dublin got out to a slow start, allowing Proctor to get off to a 17-0 start. Junior Seo In Cho (Seoul, Korea) broke the Dublin draught, and the team went on a little run pulling to within 8 points before Proctor's running game stretched their first half lead. Dublin went into the half down by 22 points. The team regrouped and worked together defensively to slow down Proctor's offense and figured out ways to get some open shots in the paint. Junior Stella Davis (Dublin, NH) started driving in the paint and started scoring and drawing fouls. Davis ended the game with 21 points and 2 blocks. Dublin's defense was energized by the efforts of junior Adunni Abrams (Brooklyn, NY) and sophomore Tatiyana Dunkers (Newark, NJ), who ended the game with a pair of steals.
