Girls Varsity Basketball vs. Stoneleigh Burnham School - Win (35-29) - January 14, 2017

The Dublin Girls' Varsity basketball team started the new year with a rematch against RVAL rival Stoneleigh Burnham School, hosting them at home. Dublin and Stoneleigh exchanged baskets at the beginning game, and Stoneleigh pulled ahead in the middle of the first half. The Dublin girls didn't lose their heads. they settled into their game, played strong defense, and made a few key shots. Down by 2 points in the last minutes of the first half Senior Sabrina Hayden (Marlborough, NH) made 2 free throws to tie the game and Junior Bette Imhoff (Dublin, NH) made 1 of 2 to take the lead.

The girls came out of the half and continued to build momentum, putting up a quick 8 points. From there, the team never looked back, holding Stoneleigh to only 12 second half points and finishing the game with 35-29 win. 

Juniors Stella Davis (Dublin, NH) and Bette Imhoff led all scorers with 13 and 10 points respectively. Davis and Hayden combined to pull down 10 rebounds.
