The Dublin Boys lacrosse team controlled the game against Kimball Union Academy JV from the start and never looked back, finishing with a 12-2 victory. The Wildcats set a fast pace right from the opening whistle, but needed to work on taking time to find the best offensive look and not force the ball to the crease. After some sloppy play early, Dublin started clicking and moving the ball much more fluidly.
The offense was led by junior Ben Simon (6 goals) and supported by senior Nick Lemieux (2 goals), senior Danny Figueroa (2 goals), senior Jordan Ferreras (1 goal) and sophomore Fabryce Joseph (1 goal).
The defense, giving up a season low 2 goals, was once again anchored by the leadership and communication of senior Seb McLinden. Seniors Hyelom Love and Ian Stanford, and junior Mark Franklin also contributed on defense and in the clearing game.
Many young Dublin players saw their first playing time of the season in the second half and worked hard on both the offensive and defensive ends of the field.
