The opening round of the River Valley Athletic League boys basketball tournament was delayed one day by snow, but on Tuesday #2 seeded Dublin hosted #7 seeded White Oak School. The Wildcats lived up to their billing, holding the visitors scoreless for the first sixteen minutes, at which point they had piled up a 41-0 lead. The game was never in doubt, and Dublin went on to win by a score of 73-13. Every player scored in the game, but the team's freshmen led the attack. Forward Idriss Traore '19 dropped in 16 points, Wyatt Switzer '19 and Will Campbell '19 had 11 points apiece, and Kane Ito '19, playing in his first ever Varsity game, scored 7. Sophomore Fabryce Joseph '18 also got his first Varsity buckets, adding 4 points.
