In what has become a quasi-rivalry this year, Dublin's JV Girls again faced KUA on Saturday, February 13. In the first half, both teams played scrappy defense, with KUA pulling ahead on a three-pointer and a made free throw, both with less than 45 seconds left before intermission, for a score of 12-11. Dublin adjusted to a man-to-man defense in the second half, and were able to slow the KUA attack, while forcing a number of turnovers and fast-break opportunities. Katia Dermott '17 dominated the boards, ending with thirteen rebounds. It was a hard-fought contest through most of the second half. Dublin was able to pull away, but not until the final minutes. To cap off her explosive second half, leading scorer Seo In Cho '18 (sixteen points) heaved in a three-pointer as time expired.
