Girls Basketball vs. New Hampton School - Win - (27-20) - December 3, 2016

On Saturday the Girls' Basketball Program had their first game of the season, facing off against the JV squad from New Hampton.  Prior to tip-off the coaches on both sides agreed this was a great opportunity to prepare for the season ahead.  Dublin, sixteen girls strong, would rotate through the entire bench, mixing talent as they went as they make final determination of JV an Varsity status.  In turn this would be the challenge New Hampton preferred as they prepare for their first league game next week.

As is to be expected in an early season tilt, both teams made early mistakes and turnovers and the shooting percentage was not quite at peak form, however, the Dublin girls showed some spunk and aggressiveness, attributes that should pay dividends as the season progresses.

The final score on the day was 27-20, Dublin gaining the advantage.

The Dublin Varsity Team will play at Winchendon on Wednesday 12/7 while the JV squad plays next at home versus Kimball Union on Saturday 12/10.
