We have had a great first week of Nordic practice with 36 skiers coming out for the team this year. Yesterday afternoon we did an agility and endurance session using cones, flags, gates, truck tires, balance beams, and ladders to work on skiing specific movements with the athletes. The team is holding up after a full week of strength, core and endurance work. Today part of the team will be doing classic roller ski intervals while the other part of the team will be doing hill walking repeats. We are planning on making snow on the upper field on Sunday night and racing at Proctor on Wednesday. Here we go!
