On Wednesday, the Dublin School Mountain Biking team traveled for three rainy hours to North Conway for the Kennett High School Race. While many schools in the league opted out of the competition, the Wildcats were ready to jump in and race against anyone who braved the 3+ inches of rain that fell that day. In the end, it was a great showing for Dublin with 5 podium finishes-Jared Lewis 2nd in B class, Sita Moses 2nd in Girls C class, and a sweep of the boys C podium with Sean Brown with his first win, Emil Hristiche placing 2nd and Warren Umbach in 3rd.
Other notable accomplishments included Chris Brodie placing 5th in Boys B and Andrew Johnston placing 9th despite a broken chain forcing him to run the last 1/8 of the race. The team left the race muddy and happy and are in good form to compete at Vermont Academy on the 7th.
