Nordic Ski Team
Team Overview
Team Philosophy
Cross-country skiing has been a part of Dublin School's DNA since its inception in 1935. Dublin School students spent fall afternoons playing soccer, November cutting and clearing alpine and Nordic trails, and the rest of the winter skiing. In recent years, cross-country skiing has enjoyed a renaissance at Dublin School with over 30 student-athletes ranging from novices to high-performance athletes engaged in the sport each season. One of the top Nordic programs in New England, we have achieved significant success winning multiple championships.
Our fully homologated Nordic Center is one of the most enjoyable and exciting ski venues in the east. The trails reach 1800 feet above sea level, face north, and receive and retain significant snowfall. The School recently completed a brand new Outing Club that has ski storage, waxing rooms, a ski lodge, and a new trail to the Nordic Center from the front door.
Experienced racers looking for more intensive race training can take advantage of the partnership with DublinXC which also trains at the Dublin School Nordic Center.

Coaches
Coach Kendall
Evan Kendall is a high performing endurance athlete in his own right. A college cross country runner and nordic skier at St. Olaf, Kendall has used his experience and expertise to bolster the Dublin School program. Kendall has also been tapped as a US Nationals Nordic Championships Coach the past three winters.
Coach Weber
Alison Weber has helped many beginner skiers over the years to have faith in their ability to learn, has given practical guidance on how to do so based on her years of experience, and has helped them to have fun while doing it. In a sport which runs heavy in logistics, Weber has brought an incredible attention to detail, forethought, and organization which has improved the team's experiences and results.
Coach Stewart
Coach Stewart has a vast history of Nordic experience and is eager to continue sharing her expertise with her first season coaching here at Dublin.
