Team Philosophy

At Dublin we recognize the value of team sports in a student's life. While wins and championships are nice, the real pay-off comes through the exposure athletes gain from working together toward a common goal. Leadership skills are honed. Confidence is built. 

Dublin School Basketball Maxims:

• We will play the hardest.
• We will raise our teammates the most.
• We will give and earn maximum respect.

School support for the program is strong. A healthy contingent of students and faculty attend away games, while home games are a true event at Dublin. Whitney Gymnasium fills up with fans and contests often include several entertaining fan-related half-time events, such as half-court shot contest, blind shooting, and a relay race.

League and Success

Our season, which runs from early December to the end of February, features a full schedule, with games every Wednesday and Saturday. The team plays in the SENE conference with a schedule made up of similar sized varsity clubs from all over New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut and Rhode Island.  In recent years Wildcat basketball has enjoyed some much deserved success including multiple RVAL and SENE Championship appearances, and even a NEPSAC title.

Recent accomplishments include: NEPSAC Class D Champions (2022), Finalist (2023), Semi-finalist (2020).   SENE Tournament Champions (2022), Finalist (2023)
