Fiddler on the Roof 2024
Director: Jenny Foreman
Musical Director: Zach Redler
Technical Director: Sophie Luxmoore
Winner of nine Tony Awards when it debuted in 1964, Fiddler on the Roof is the brainchild of
Broadway legends, Jerome Robbins and Harold Prince; songwriters, Jerry Bock and Sheldon
Harnick; and bookwriter, Joseph Stein. Based on stories by the Yiddish author Sholem Aleichem,
Fiddler shares the story of an Eastern European Jewish community in the village of Anatevka,
(modern day Ukraine) facing changing social mores and growing anti-semitism under Tsarist
Russia in the early 20th century.
