A Fantastic Dublin Gathering in the Big Apple!

Over thirty-two Dublin School parents and alumni joined Brad Bates, Michelle Lange, Erika Rogers and Jill Hutchins for a Dublin School Whistle Stop gathering in New York City at the Croton Reservoir Tavern near Times Square on Thursday, January 12, 2012. This venue, with private room, proved to be a perfect place to catch up with old and new friends, update everyone about the exciting new programs and changes at the School, and share lots of Dublin stories. We were thrilled that virtually all of our New York parents could join us.  I would like to say a special "Thank You" to Michelle Lange, President of our Parents' Association, for her help in reaching out to all our New York City parents.

Alumni in attendance spanned six decades, 1948 - 2008, and included Al Connable '48, Charles Moizeau '50, Maurice Willoughby '84, Sean Sidebottom '86, Richard Seo '99, Rama Jaima '02, Shatema Reedy '02 and Alex Farrell '08.  Thanks to the hard work of alumna Aryna Battle '03, our co-host for the event, there were lots of alumni from 2003-2004, including Jonathan Connell '03, Christine Noel '03, Tareva John '03, Richada Grant '04 and Lauren Goodwin '04.  Thank you Aryna for your help in keeping everyone connected.

We hope to make NYC a regular Whistle Stop destination and that more of you will be able to join us next time we are in town.  If you would like to be involved in arranging the next New York get-together, please contact me in the Alumni and Development Office.

Our next Whistle Stop will be in California - San Francisco on February 7th and Los Angeles on February 8th.  See you on the Road! -Erika Rogers
