On a daily basis, our students question, create, solve, struggle, collaborate, fail, succeed, practice, practice some more, and discover. This new blog will highlight life inside Dublin School math classrooms. Here are a few pictures and a recent highlight to kick things off!
Earlier this week in an Algebra II class, students worked on manipulating trigonometric expressions and equations by using trigonometric identities. To help students practice and grow their understandings, downhill ski coach and longtime math teacher, Bill Farrell, dropped off the "Tactile Trig Identity 'Game'" that he built. This board requires one to find the product of many combinations of trig expressions. These three students teamed up to complete the entire board and then celebrated by taking a selfie with Mr. Adams.
