be where you are

Dublin School is a boarding and day school on 500 acres in Southwestern New Hampshire. Our students, faculty and staff are curious, kind and adventurous.  With a diverse set of program offerings -- Advanced Topics in all subject areas, 17 Athletic Teams, AstroPhotography, Recording Studio, Ski Trails and Slopes, and so much more -- We strive to be the best small boarding school in America.

Be where you are...

In a thoughtful place

With intention, we think about what we ask you to do each day. Together we create a place where you can strive and grow.

With Kindness

Being in a community where kindness is truly valued is simply better! People at Dublin take that extra minute to think beyond themselves when they engage with each other, and those minutes add up to something special.

With a sense of adventure

We really mean it when we say you will try many new things at Dublin. Build your own adventure.

In a creative place

Creativity is an unavoidable outcome of curiosity.  Dublin students are curious.

Our collective sense of place defines our community.

It’s the blending of a unique collection of qualities and characteristics – visual, cultural, academic, social, and environmental – that lend to the distinct sense of belonging that occurs at Dublin. But mostly, it’s our people.

I love how comfortable I am here being myself around my friends.

I love Dublin because it’s a place where every aspect of myself finds an individual place that is accepted and celebrated.

I started Dublin as a dancer, and I will leave as a choreographer, performer, and student of the arts. The Dublin dance and performing arts programs have encouraged me to leave my comfort zone and come into the spotlight.

Dublin is a learning space unlike any other I’ve seen. The community is accepting and has equal opportunity for all.

I live in Monadnock Dorm and lets face it, I am the luckiest dog in the world!

Mr. Villaamil

I attended the Uruguayan institute for teachers, graduating as a High School History teacher. Being bilingual in Spanish and French and having a degree in Education, I was hired by the French Embassy in Uruguay to teach Spanish in France in a one year contract. Once I finished my contract I moved to the United States to get my Master´s degree in Education and teach Spanish and History at the Dublin School. I currently teach History and enjoy the students at Dublin very much.

My interest in science began as a young child as I learned to question and explore the natural world. After high school, I went to Mount Holyoke College, where I studied biochemistry, led trips with the Outing Club, sang in the Glee Club, and danced. It was there that I found my passion for education.  I enjoyed time volunteering in local elementary schools and adult education programs, developing curriculum to bolster their science programs. Upon graduating from Mount Holyoke, I got my Master’s in Education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and found my way to Dublin School. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy hiking, skiing, dancing, singing, and spending time with friends and family.
