The trails at the Nordic Center remain open, but you are advised to ski cautiously. Many of the trouble spots created from the thaw have been dealt with, but there are still a half dozen areas where running water crosses the trail bed and may make it necessary for skiers to remove skis and traverse across on foot. Details are below:
- The trails with the best snow coverage and conditions are: Upper Sapporo, Placid, and Oslo.
- The trails with thin coverage are: lower Chamonix, and the stadium area.
- Beware of the first downhill section on Sapporo! There is a large pool of standing water at the bottom of the hill. You should be able to cross without removing your skis by skiing to the far left side
