A high-energy interactive approach to teaching about selected topics of West African culture. Based out of Brown University, New Works incorporates world performance traditions into exciting pieces that promote social change, global awareness, and collaboration between cultures. Authentic costumes, masks, and dances bring these narratives to life. Their pieces hope to educate through the power of performance.

New Works also leads workshops in the dances, stories, and musical traditions of Mali and provide an unparalleled way of putting learning on its feet. There will be both dance and drumming workshops offered on Saturday November 2 at Dublin School.
