Athletic Trainer

BA (Athletic Training) Keene State College

I am originally from Miami, Florida but have been living in New Hampshire since the age of fifteen. I enjoy the outdoors whether it be playing sports, hiking, fishing, camping, or simply just catching a few rays on the beach. Dublin School is such an excellent location for me because there are pristine lakes and ponds nearby, as well as great hiking trails. During the rich winters in Dublin I look forward to heading to the mountain to improve on my skiing abilities, and to get the adrenaline rush when flying down the slopes. I'm a very outgoing, athletic, goofy, and curious person who likes to try anything and everything, and believe that there is nothing to hinder me from giving it my best and trying to prevail. I currently live in Little House with my best bud (my doggie) Cane.

What book has made you think the most?: Evolution: The Triumph of an Idea by Carl Zimmer

If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be?: Hmmm...SUPERPOWERS!
First of all, I would love the ability to have a green thumb and be able to grow anything wherever I want at the snap of my fingers. This could benefit many cultures, civilizations and endangered species. I would also love the ability to retain any and all information I have ever learned about, read about, or from charts, maps, and diagrams investigated.

If your life had a theme song, what would it be?: There is no song that can do my life justice seeing as I have experience so many different things, and have had to change and adapt to many different situations. One song that always gets an emotional response from me is The News by Jack Johnson. This song is truly beautiful, and has such a wonderful meaning.

What teacher has had the most impact on you? How were they special?: My college professor Dr. Wanda Swiger. She is such a powerful woman with such a strong voice and the ability to bring the full potential out of everyone of her students. She is incredibly witty and has a sly sense to know whether you put forth your best effort or not. There were many times that I left our class or the Athletic Training facility completely mind blown at her ability to make the difficult seem easy and understandable. She constantly stressed that grades do not matter as long as your ability to strive for personal excellence and comprehension of Athletic Training applied to your effort and knowledge put forth clinically. I would not be the person I am today without her pushing me to be the best I can. She was always there to help, to listen, and was a perfect mother figure in times of need.

How would your friends describe you in 3 words?: Energetic, Thoughtful, Comical, Goofy, Curious, Fun, Crazy, Loyal...come on 3 words, my friends and family would laugh in your face if they had to try and describe me in 3 words.

You are hosting a dinner party and must invite 3 famous people. Who would you choose and why?: Emmitt Smith, Ernesto Che Guevara De la serna, Mila Kunis.

I would invite Emmitt Smith because he was my idol growing up and is still one of my favorite athletes ever. Just being in his presence is enough for me. Che Geuvara, before he met Raul Castro, when he was traveling South America to hear the tales and to pick his brain a little bit, and ask him why he quit Medical School in his senior year just before graduating. And last, but never least, Mila Kunis because she is the love of my life and any movie or show with her in it is just that much better. She would make my dinner party, and life, complete. In the words of Headmaster Brad Bates (who is also invited to my dinner party), "Now that's a dinner party!"

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you?: Oh jeez..I'm torn between James Franco and Gael Garcia Bernal.
