The Nordic members of the Endurance Team have been building in some ski specific training into their fall schedules. Many of our top skiers are currently on the cross country running and soccer teams and they work with their coaches so that they can train for skiing two or three times a week. We focus on core and upper body strength to save their legs for their regular competitions. Yesterday we did a great VO2 Max workout on the ski ergs, completing short, high intensity intervals with short rest periods in between. Our new skiers are already contributing to the fun and hard working culture on the team.
