Despite mother nature's attempts to thwart the energy on campus we have had a busy 24 hours. It is hard to capture everything that goes on during a typical 24 hour period at Dublin School. Last night we had our first Parents' Association dinner hosted by PA head Betsy Small Campbell P'16, P '19 and Academic Dean Sarah Doenmez. After dinner the parents headed to the School House to hear about this year's exciting developments in the academic realm.
Later last night I stopped in on to see the Dubliners chorus in action with Music Director Patrick Marr. The Shonk Recital Hall was filled with abundant laughter and beautiful singing. These kids amaze me as they fill their day with classes, arts and sports go to dinner, sing, and then head to study hall to get ready to do it again tomorrow.
The heavy rains soaked the campus overnight, but when I arrived on campus this morning I noticed a few eight legged, amorphous organisms shuffling across the quad under shared umbrellas. This photo did not come out well but Theresa, Emma, Chris and Matt were too photogenic for me to discard this photo opp.
