Girls Varsity Basketball vs. Winchendon School - Win (44-35) - December 9, 2015

The girls hosted their first game of the season and put on a good show for their fans defeating Winchendon School 44-35. Dublin struggled a little offensively at the beginning of the game, but their defense keep the score close. Dublin chipped away at Winchendon's early lead and managed to pull ahead at the half. Dublin started the second half hoping to build on their lead, but the Winchendon girls wouldn't go down without a fight, keeping the score within two points for most of the second half. It wasn't until the final minutes of the game that Dublin was able to really build on the mounting momentum.

After a key time out gave junior Sabrina Hayden an easy two points, Dublin never looked back. The team wants to welcome back senior Clare Halacy who contributed 7 points off the bench, including a key three-pointer in the first half. Sophomore, Stella Davis, lead all scorers with 20 points, three steals, and two rebounds. Sophomore, Bette Imhoff,  and junior, Sabrina Hayden, contributed eight and six points respectively. Defensive shout-outs go to sisters Hope and Clare Fowler. The whole team would like to thank the gym full of fans for being a great sixth man!
