Snowboarding at Burton Factory - December 12, 2015

On Saturday the snowboard team took a trip to Burlington, Vermont to tour the Burton Snowboard Headquarters. They are not usually open on Saturday's but the kind people at Burton opened it up especially for us.

Most snowboarders don't get to see all the hard work, people, and technology that go into creating the gear that they use everyday for their sport. It is also important to know about the past and where snowboarding came from so that we, as snowboarders, can be well educated in the sport and take it further. We got to do and see some things that not very many people are able to experience and it was a truly special trip. We would like to thank our coach Paul Graves for arranging this wonderful trip and also we would like to thank Todd Coleman and Chris Doyle for having us and taking the time out of their day to teach us about the origins and future of the sport of snowboarding.
