Res Life Workshop

I had the opportunity to sit in on our second round of residential life workshops this week and I was quite impressed with the discussions and activities I witnessed. The junior class discussed an article about a particularly bad case of bullying that took place in another school. They debated how the students, teachers and school administration could have avoided the tragedy that ensued. The freshmen discussed time management and learned different techniques for using their daily planners. The seniors worked on college applications with Holly Macy and a team of faculty members, and the sophomores were tied into a human knot in the gym--looked like some serious team building going on up there!

I am quite pleased with the start of this new program and reminded of how many things we must teach our students to help them lead lives of fulfillment, service, and success.
