Our fourteen camping trips returned safely from all points of New England on Saturday night. Robin Oliver, Stacia Tolman and I had a wonderful time with our ten students on our "New England Art" trip. We hiked Mount Ascutney, visited my friend Peter Brooke's art studio in Sharon, VT, toured the devastation caused by the recent flooding, went to Hood Museum at Dartmouth College, the St. Gaudin's State Park in NH, and were taught to draw by Ms. Oliver. Other trips went canoeing, backpacking (some went 40 miles in three days), mountain biking, and rock climbing.
A big thank you to our Dean of Students Eric Nemitz for the many hours he invested to make these trips go so well!
