Dublin students use largest solar instrument in the world

The McMath-Pierce Solar Telescope

The Perkin Observatory at Dublin School is helping the National Solar Observatory (NSO) develop the remote observing capabilities of the McMath-Pierce Solar Telescope, located at Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona.  Director of the Perkin Observatory Joseph Putko formed this collaboration so that Dublin students can use cutting-edge technology and learn about the science of the Sun.
