Caroline Doenmez '05 Interning at the United Nations

Caroline Doenmez ’05, recently sent us her first professionally published writing, a blog about the plight of aboriginal women in Canada being murdered. Caroline is pursing a Masters in Human Rights at Columbia University, with a concentration on indigenous women’s rights. She is presently participating in a UN internship with UN Women and helped run the conference on the Status of Women 2014 in March. She has also organized volunteers taken notes in sessions and meetings, and helped compile a database of women’s rights organization in the world.
